The TDS Nomad packs functionality and power in a full-featured rugged handheld computer. This includes an 806 MHz processor, long-life battery, and integrated wireless capabilities like GPS, 802.11g, and Bluetooth. The TDS Nomad also has a high-resolution, sunlight-visible VGA display.
The TDS Nomad meets rigorous MIL SPEC 810F military standards for drops, vibration, humidity, altitude, and extreme temperatures. The Nomad also comes with an IP67 rating.
Every TDS Nomad comes with an 806 MHz Marvell PXA320 XScale processor, 128 MB RAM and a hot-swappable rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack.
A Compact Flash (CF) Type II slot and a Secure Digital (SDIO) slot add to the versatility of your TDS Nomad. You can use memory cards to increase data storage, or use other accessory cards for multiple applications.
The TDS Nomad is completely sealed for running in wet applications. Testing indicates that you can submerge the TDS Nomad one meter deep in water for 30 minutes.
