The flexibility of a tablet pc computer and the power of a notebook pc computer are combined in the RuffNote Convertible. This convertible tablet pc features a 10.4", or 12.1" LCD screen display. Light weight for a rugged computer, this design incorporates a 180° rotating screen. Because this portable computer transforms from a notebook to a tablet pc, it ranks as a great rugged notebook.

Ruggedized features make the RuffNote ideal for outdoor use and in tough environments. Designed and tested around the military standard MIL SPEC 810F, ensures that this model can hold up to field conditions and mobile applications, and it is highly portable at only 2.2 kg.

This convertible computer is fully weather sealed to protect against cold, heat, rain, dust and humidity. It has been designed with a magnesium alloy case with and a fan-less design. Removable HDDs also protect and prevent damage during critical operation. Compliance with IP65 standards, ensures that the RuffNote Convertible computer will operate in the most demanding environments.

This RuffNote Convertible is a high performance machine with lower power consumption, incorporating the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 1.2 GHz processor, 1GB RAM and a standard 120 GB hard drive.
